40 days of McCain and Obama

I haven’t watched it yet, but if you did, what were your impressions of the McCain and Obama “forum” at Saddleback with Superpastor, Rick Warren?

First of all I thought Rick Warren did a terrible job conducting the interview. He bothered me.
Secondly, I think McCain was much more clear on his positions even though I don’t agree with them all. Obama was much more conversational and obviously the better politician as far as how he conducted himself.
could you please pick up some aluminum foil and a lighter on the way home. I know that you will probably read this blog before you will call me back.
yes, sweetheart.
I haven’t heard the whole forum (surprisingly enough) but the responses that I did hear were about abortion and about the most ‘gut wrenching decision’ that each candidate has had to make. There was really no contest on either question as far as being clear, having sincere ‘real life’ experience, and taking a firm moral high ground.
As far as the other comments on the blog. I can’t say my wife has ever used my blog for communication with me about a shopping list… but I hope she doesn’t read this and get any ideas.
That was classic.
Foil and a lighter?……..you know a 3 year old shouldn’t play with those items!
