Bachelor Dad: Day 9
April 20, 2008
I never realized until today how much Eli spills things. I am not exaggerating when I say he spills something (juice, milk, water, soda) at least 2 twice a day. It never fails. It has taken me all of the nine days into the BDE to pick up on this. Astonishing.
We are now in full-swing of Operation: Mom’s Arrival which is detailed deep clean of the house and launched today immediately following the Suns narrow loss to the San Antonio Sterns. Tomorrow I have laundry and yard work slated and Monday will be internal operations. I want the condition of the house to be on the bottom of Mandy’s concerns when she returns. So far, the operation is running smoothly.
I am still sick and medicating with a constant presence of Hall’s Menthol Cough Drops and OTC painkillers. I was scheduled to have a “guys night out” tonight but just wasn’t feeling up to it.
Tomorrow marks the last full day of the BDE. We pick up Mandy at 7:50 PM Monday night. Here is the deep-penetrating question, do I have time to play my softball game at 6 PM and THEN get to the airport to pick her up? Please advise me on this.

I don’t like you new blog layout. it confuses me. And on what number bachelor day are you hanging out with your bachelor buddies (and their married friend Justin)?
i will order you a copy of the Video Professor so he can help you figure it out. and never since mandy comes home tomorrow and I used up my babysitting rights on work and school, etc.
