Liveblog: Euro 2008 Final

I am attempting something I never have before and following after The Sports Guy… liveblogging while watching a sporting event. I have been pumped for the UEFA Euro 2008 Final between Germany and Spain all week and the day is here. Since Germany have plenty of Euro Championships under their belt, I am rooting for Spain. Beckham’s Boot

Its not secret who my man crush is. This weekend he kicked a goal from 10 yards BEYOND midfield. (see vide to the right) This is hard to do standing still with no other players around, try it. He did it in a game. Despite those who hate him for his fame, Becks continues to prove he is still one of the most accurate footballers in the world.

I love…

I love soccer. But I also love English soccer announcers and people who write live game commentaries. Bummer Man U won the UEFA Champions League, but it was a great game and I always like being the only white guy in the bar watching the soccer game with the cooks. How appropriate that Drogba’s last act in Chelsea blue was to get sent off for pimp-slapping Vicic?
